safety in the school
Today my school had a brief lock down drill. This drill was brought on due to the events that have been happening in the past few weeks. I think this was so helpful to the students because many did not know what we were doing. The students were scared and did not respond well to the drill until after we explained why the drill was needed. I think it is so important for the students to be aware of what is happening around the world. The children pick up on stress from the teachers so they should be informed and educated on what is happening.

We were on the playground when the drill happened and had to run to the library. I agree the students should be informed of what's going on in the world because I think it would help them to see that the school is doing everything it can to make sure that things like that won't happen in their school.
